New Mexico State Police arrest man who rammed gate at State Police office and front doors at Bernalillo County Metropolitan Courthouse
Albuquerque– On Saturday, August 17, 2019 New Mexico State Police arrested a male subject who rammed his vehicle through a gate at the New Mexico State Police office.
At around 12:06 p.m., Gilberto Durades-Lahera arrived at the New Mexico State Police office on Carlisle Boulevard. After a few minutes, Durades-Lahera left the front parking lot at the New Mexico State Police office in a gold Nissan, sports utility vehicle. Durades-Lahera then drove through a gate into a secure parking lot at the New Mexico State Police Office.
New Mexico State Police officers caught up with Durades-Lahera at the Bernalillo County Metro Courthouse, where he rammed his vehicle into the front doors.
State Police officers arrested Gilberto Durades-Lahera charging him with two counts of Criminal Damage to property.
Gilberto Durades-Lahera was arrested without further incident and booked into the Bernalillo County Metro Detention Center. No additional information available.
